Ramis died
another 80s name gone
can't recall why I downloaded Groundhog Day not long ago
probably mentions of Bill Murray on the web
Couldn't get through the first 10 minutes the other night
but since Ramis passed, I watched it again.
First this is a pretty brilliant movie.
Simple, entertaining and profound.
But it's also quite close to my personal progression
For all my life I was egocentered
Now some things have chipped inside
and the world can reach deeper inside of me
I wrote before that I can now express myself
as much as I can accept the world and the people
without suffering anymore.
I want to also say that I've always had a desire
to share and help
But society is a complex thing, and direct help can cause
problems and pain in some contexts.
Which led me to stop caring because I was bleeding myself
Something similar to my father I believe. Again there's a balance
to reach in your relationship to the environment
Too pressing : wrong
Too close : wrong
